A modern city flat gets a makeover.

This flat in the heart of Clerkenwell had great bones and a wonderful double height ceiling, but was tired and dated. We injected a real wow factor, inspired by the strong lines and industrial floor to ceiling windows.

We designed a striking, modern kitchen using black metal handles and concrete worktops for an industrial feel, maximising every available bit of space, and opened up the pokey closet to create a beautiful and accessible larder, for loads of extra storage and the all important space for a cuppa.

To make the most of the double height ceilings we chose a gorgeous, modern chandelier to add some real drama, and installed Crittall style doors and sliding panels in the maisonette to allow light to come through the flat but still give safety and privacy when desired. Lastly, new flooring and decoration warmed everything up and gave a lux feeling to every room. We're so pleased with the result!
