Form and function for a busy family.

The couple who bought this flat loved the layout, but needed it to work much harder for them whilst still feeling spacious, welcoming and a little opulent. They have a young daughter and both work from home, so there was a need for lots of storage, and areas to focus. The result is a look that reflects their personalities, embraces their love of pattern and texture, and manages to still be super functional. 

We put a pocket door on the loo to improve hallway access, updated electrics and soundproofing insulation throughout, giving the flat a warm and cosy feel. The custom joinery hides away the clutter, but also means the different zones can be flexible and grow with the family.

Both the bedroom and the hallway double up as offices, with some gorgeous String furniture, yet they’re both completely beautiful, high functioning spaces. Now everyone has their own areas to enjoy, for work or relaxing. What a result!
